Katie Van Bergeyk

Katie Van Bergeyk is a performer and creator based out of Toronto Ontario, who is grateful to learn, create and perform on the unceded and traditional territory of the Mississaugas of the Credit, the Anishnabeg, the Chippewa, the Haudenosaunee and the Wendat peoples. She has experience across a variety of mediums, her favourite being musical theatre.

 

Some of her favourite theatre credits include: Legally Blonde (VOS) Matilda: The Musical, (Summerland Secondary School), Shrek: The Musical, Joseph and the Amazing Technicolour Dreamcoat, Lenin's Embalmers and The Drowsy Chaperone (Canadian College of Performing Arts).

 

Katie has always been a performer. Whether it was imitating cartoons, singing with her siblings or telling big stories to the kids she babysat, she was always putting on a show. This transferred over into doing every show that her high school put on, and her training at Canadian College of Performing Arts. As an artist, Katie values telling untold stories, putting strong women on stage, and making honest art.
